Money Funds

Mutual fund money market accounts, also called money funds, are different than the Money market count offered by FDIC-insured banks. Technically, money funds are a type of mutual fund. The biggest advantage for an investor in holding cash in money funds today is the price stability in comparison to other types of fixed-income securities.
